I’m a Nutritionist. I am not a chef. Contrary to assumptions, I don’t like spending hours in the kitchen.

This is a collection of some of my ‘go to’ recipes, which I add to from time to time. They may not suit you – obviously I see people who have a wide variety of dietary needs so please book a consultation via the form below if you need help with this.

There are a few boxes that my recipes will ‘tick’ and if they don’t meet this criteria they won’t end up here.

The ‘TBN Way’

-They will contain a balance of proteins, complex carbohydrates and healthy fats

-I tend not to use sugar or highly refined carbohydrates. Contrary to popular belief carbohydrates are not evil, you simply need to portion them alongside your healthy fats and proteins and focus on your fiber rich options. Ironically, this is exactly what nature provided us with in the form of vegetables, fruits and unrefined grains.

-Most of my recipes I aim to build around ‘plants’ as a base. We can all do with more vegetables in our lives and they should be the star attraction in most of your meals.

-As a ‘real food nutritionist’ you will find limited store bought ingredients, however none of these meals take longer than 20 minutes to prepare, most can be cooked in bulk and many list a number of variations in case you don’t have everything on hand in your kitchen.
